How to Email Posts to Blogger?

Blogger, Google's feature-rich blogging platform, enables your business to experience the benefits of a website even if you lack Web-design experience. Normally, you need to log into the Blogger dashboard to create a post and publish it on your blog. The Mail-to-Blogger feature lets you submit posts to your blog from your email address so that you do not need to log into Blogger to publish content. Mail-to-Blogger allows you to publish your posts immediately or save them as drafts.

Set Up Mail-to-Blogger

Open your Internet browser and log in to an administrator account for your Blogger blog.

Click the "Settings" tab and then click "Email." Scroll down to the "Mail-to-Blogger Address" section.

Enter a secret word in the Mail-to-Blogger Address box. The address is in the format of "," where "username" is your Blogger username and "secretword" is the word you entered in the box.

Click "Publish emails immediately" to publish posts as soon as you send them or click "Save emails as draft posts." Click "Save."

Email Posts to Blogger

Log in to your email account and compose a new email.

Enter your Mail-to-Blogger address in the "To" field. Type the title of your post in the "Subject" field.

Type your post in the body of the email. Add a picture to the post by attaching an image to the email.

Click "Send" to send the post to your blog or save it as a draft in Blogger.

  • If your email program appends text at the bottom of messages, type "#end" (without quotes) at the end of the post. This prevents text from getting cut off on your blog.
